Risks Associated with the use of digital assets
Please note that all transactions involving digital assets involve certain risks. In this respect, once such a transaction has been transmitted to a Blockchain Network, it will be unconfirmed for a period of time until sufficient confirmation of the transaction by the Blockchain Network has been received. A transaction is not completed in an outstanding state. Virtual digital assets that are in a pending state are flagged accordingly, and the corresponding stored digital asset is not included in your digital asset wallet and is not available for transactions.
Before using Teroxx App Services you have to understand the risks associated with trader protection, volatility, lack of intrinsic value, market saturation, technology risks, limited adoption, lack of interoperability, governing challenges, and technological barriers for you as a user.
You should acknowledge your account (wallet) is not a bank account. Your digital assets are not covered by insurance against losses or subject to deposit protection. We do not offer securities services.
Volatility risk, market fluctuations
The risk of loss of digital assets can be significant. We do not provide, nor can we control, the prices for the digital assets you may trade via our App. The market price of digital assets is influenced by a broad array of factors and can change rapidly and unexpectedly, meaning the value of these digital assets, and your related profits and losses can also change rapidly and unexpectedly. You should therefore carefully consider whether holding digital assets is appropriate for you in view of your financial situation. When considering whether you want to hold digital assets, you should be aware that the price or value of digital assets can change rapidly, decrease, and possibly even drop to zero. Past performance is not an indicator of future performance. If you use Teroxx App Services to access and store stored digital asset private keys for you and/or third parties, you acknowledge that we are not responsible for the protection of such keys and that we are not responsible for the loss of stored Digital Asset keys resulting from theft, loss or misuse of stored Digital Asset private keys that are beyond our control.
We are not responsible for the digital asset market and make no representations or warranties as to the actual or perceived value of digital assets denominated in a quoted currency. Although we may provide historical and/or real-time data at the price of digital assets, we make no representations regarding the quality, suitability, usefulness, accuracy or completeness of such data, and you should not rely on such data for any reason whatsoever. You understand and agree that the value of Digital Assets may be volatile and we will not be in any way responsible or liable for any loss you suffer as a result of holding or trading Digital Assets, even if the Teroxx App Services are delayed, suspended or interrupted for any reason.
Liquidity risk
Whilst certain digital assets can be very liquid, you should be aware that others can be less liquid, and it is not guaranteed that there will be a buyer for your digital assets. Therefore, you may not be able to realize your digital assets or realize it at its actual market value.
Technical risks
Whilst we will try to make the Teroxx App Services available to you without interruption, we cannot guarantee that the Teroxx App Services will always be available to you. In these circumstances, you may not be able to use our services.
Tax
You should be aware that various tax regimes may apply to your activity depending on your personal tax status and the rules and regulations in force from time to time. You have the sole responsibility of determining the relevant tax impact on your activity and you should consult an appropriate professional advisor if you have any questions or doubts in this regard. We do not provide tax advice.
Financial resources
You should ensure that you have appropriate financial resources to engage in the buying and selling of digital assets, and that you can bear any losses that may arise from your trading activity.
